The youPCR® Solution B - Powdery Mildew assay is used in combination with youPCR® Solution A, youPCR® Solution C, and youPCR® Powdery Mildew Control to detect Powdery Mildew in cannabis and hemp plants.
youPCR® assays use Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) to detect various genetic markers or plant pathogens in the cannabis plant. A positive result will cause the pink testing solution to turn yellow, indicating the target DNA sequence is present.
The youPCR® Solution B Assay can be used on most PCR Thermal Cyclers, and it must be used in combination with:
- youPCR® Solution A (leaf hole punches included)
- youPCR® Solution C
- youPCR® Powdery Mildew Positive Control
- Nuclease Free Water
