Use our StrainSEEK panel to find novel variants in key genomic areas, including Cannabinoid Synthase, Disease Resistance, Terpene Synthase, Flavinoid Synthase, Seeding, and more! Your report will show high-impact variants in genes of interest, determine plant type and gender, and show your strain's closest and most distant relatives in our database. Raw genetic data files are downloadable for further analysis with information covering more than 10 million bases and 300-500 thousand SNPS.
StrainSEEK Whole Genome
Whole Genome sequencing maximizes a breeder's ability to show a strain's uniqueness by providing a full DNA sequence of areas of that strain's genome that have yet to be characterized. Reports on Kannapedia are currently similar to the smaller panel, but at about 800 Mb there is substantially more downloadable data. We will develop WGS specific features of the report and incorporate any new findings on gene mutations as they become available.
